Upon arrival at Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport in Jackson, Mississippi, a friendly meet-and-greet assistant will welcome you. They will then guide you to the private group transportation conveniently waiting for you curbside. Approximate travel time is one hour and fifty-three minutes before arriving at your quintessential destination accommodations. Upon check-in, unpack and relax with a glass of champagne amenity waiting in each guest room. Later, meet your private guide for a grand property tour with fascinating stories and insights into the area's past. You'll have the chance to take a group photo at the historic inn's grounds, perfect for capturing the moment before tonight's dinner. Step back in time and immerse yourself in the luxury of the Men's and Ladies' Parlors of a bygone era with tonight's dining experience. As you enter the restaurant, you'll be greeted by elegant and authentic crystal gasoliers adorning the ceiling, casting a mesmerizing glow over the entire space. Day 2: Wednesday

Explore A City Worth Knowing

As you savor a delicious breakfast, get ready to embark on an exciting adventure to discover the destination's hidden gems. Meet your guide, who will take you on a dazzling ride around town. As you soak up the city's intriguing history, your guide will share fascinating tales and insights, revealing the secrets and stories that will transport you back in time, giving you a deeper understanding of this remarkable area. Journey through time as you step into beautiful antebellum homes, each intricately designed with well-kept gardens and grand decor that will leave you in awe. These homes feature period pieces that look like they were taken straight out of a storybook, evoking memories of the iconic Gone With The Wind. The Tour continues with a visit to a family-owned winery where guests will learn about the unique flavors of the best muscadine table wines. The Tour then proceeds to one of the oldest buildings in the area, which in the past was frequented by cutthroats, prostitutes, and thieves, then concludes with lunch at a favorite local eatery offering fresh Mississippi and Louisiana regional cuisines.

Day 3: Thursday

Today, get ready for a fascinating tour filled with awe-inspiring sites and historic monuments. You'll explore some of the most remarkable places in the region, starting with an impressive mound. This is the second-largest ceremonial structure from the Mississippian period in the United States. Next, you'll visit a historic Southern plantation that boasts incredible architecture and rich cultural significance. Then, you'll visit the Bethel Presbyterian, a landmark church that has earned a place on the National Register of Historic Places. Finally, you'll visit an iconic and historic plantation which was destroyed by a fire in 1890. The story behind it is sure to leave you in awe. After all these amazing tours, you'll be treated to a true taste of the South at a mouthwatering all-you-can-eat lunch buffet. This buffet will transport your taste buds to a world of flavor, giving you the perfect end to your tour.

Day 4: Friday

You will have the opportunity to sample savory and sweet dishes at six different stops, tantalizing your taste buds with various flavors that will leave you wanting more. The Tour starts at a local coffee hotspot, where you can join other coffee lovers and enjoy a steaming cup of coffee, as well as freshly made beignets - just like the locals, then proceeds to a destination dedicated to preserving the Southern tradition of "Hot Biscuits & Cool Blues," followed by your entry into a lively and vibrant ambiance where you can relish a Knock-You-Naked Margarita, which pairs perfectly with the eatery award-winning housemade tamales. Next, indulge in crispy, battered, and deep-fried pickles, guaranteed to tantalize your taste buds. The Tour continues as you enter a world of juicy and flavorful swine dining, where the BBQ experience is renowned for some of the best BBQs in the area. Finally, visit a one-of-a-kind building shaped like a woman to relish a classic homemade dessert. Along the way, you will visit narration points highlighting the historical significance of the areas you will be passing through, immersing yourself in the rich culture and traditions of the region. Afterward, indulge in a delightful farewell culinary experience exuding a casual and comfortable atmosphere with the finesse of fine dining, complemented by the perfect blend of music and drinks. As the evening draws to a close, our guests will receive a swag bag as a token of our appreciation for your presence.
